About Sharon
Standing in front of a whiteboard after finishing my Master of Science in Pure Mathematics at Stanford University, I realized that clarity is the most important tool for any teacher. My 13 years of experience have helped me guide 425 students through the complexities of the chain rule, differentiation rules, and definite integrals.
I simplify integration techniques, optimization problems, and curve sketching so that you can focus on mastering the underlying logic. Whether you are tackling applications of derivatives or complex Taylor series, I provide free access to my worked-solution notes to reinforce our problem-solving strategies. How well do you think your current exam technique reflects your actual knowledge of these topics?

Pacing matters more than speed, though most people assume that finishing a problem quickly is the true sign of success. My method involves pausing frequently to evaluate your logic before we move to the next step of an equation. Using the rigor I gained from my Stanford degree, I provide direct feedback on every calculation you make. I find that most students benefit from seeing a methodical, structured approach applied to the same calculus problems they see on their exams.
This ensures that you develop a consistent rhythm when working through integration or differentiation. We focus on accuracy above all else to ensure that you are fully prepared to handle the challenges presented in your coursework. My 13 years of teaching have taught me exactly where students tend to falter and how we can avoid those common mistakes. Would you like to review your current process together during our next session?
