About Ben
I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master's degree in Chemistry. I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience, working with students from primary school through to A level.
I particularly enjoy helping students get to the point where difficult concepts actually make sense, rather than simply memorising methods for an exam. I'm friendly and patient, and I'm happy to adapt lessons to different abilities and goals.
Outside tutoring, my academic interests are mainly in theoretical chemistry and physics, and I also speak Japanese.

I tailor lessons to each student, focusing on building a strong understanding of the underlying concepts before applying them to exam-style problems. I encourage students to work through problems themselves, stepping in with explanations and hints where needed.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and can cover new material, revision, exam technique or specific areas the student is struggling with.
I am a Cambridge Chemistry graduate with several years of tutoring experience, teaching students across a range of ages and abilities. I primarily offer GCSE and A-level Chemistry and Maths, as well as GCSE Science
