About Louis
Coming from a state school, where maths classes are filled with 30 students, many of whom are completely uninterested in maths, the teachers must spend all their energy keeping the class in order rather than actually teaching! This is particularly harmful for those students with a genuine interest in the subject and those who would like to learn more. I aim to fill this void of unattended enthusiasm. My lessons will not only help you smash your exams, but also give you a deeper, more coherent idea of what mathematics is all about. My lessons are friendly, free of judgement and are open to everyone.

My lessons are intense and highly interactive. On any particular topic, we will begin with some background notes and possibly some example questions before promptly beginning on practice questions which I will walk you through. These will start easy and I will tailor following questions to suit your level of understanding. Where applicable I will give tips, tricks and insightful comments into the questions you do to help you understand the question to the fullest extent.
Lessons will usually be 1.5 hours, however this can be changed depending on circumstances.
I am a 3rd year Mathematics student at the University of Cambridge and received 4 A*s at A level. I have also been tutoring for two years.
I tutor GCSE maths, A level maths and further maths and any university maths entrance exam like MAT, TMUA or STEP.
