About Dr Emma
Over the past four years, I have been tutoring Biology from KS3 to A level, both online and in-person. Throughout this time I have accumulated more than 30 hours in Biology A level tuition and have taught a wide variety of students, meaning I have a thorough understanding of what topics are tricky to students, and what the common questions are.

A typical Biology lesson will cover any subject that you wish to revise or learn from scratch. I am incredibly patient and am happy to cover subjects as many times as you need, in different ways using different resources, until you are happy. Since Biology is fundamentally a visual subject, I use my graphics tablet to draw out and explain key concepts, which I believe has been a true game-changer in my methodology and has vastly improved the quality of my lessons.
I believe that a multidisciplinary approach is the best way to achieve the grade you desire in science. So, in addition to clearly explaining the concepts of Biology, I can include advice on study skills, extracurricular opportunities to become engaged with Biology, and free access to my hand-written A level Biology notes. Furthermore, I wholeheartedly welcome questions, and indeed believe that every question is important, no matter how basic or complex.

Emma is a very well-read, proficient, and trustworthy tutor. She taught me everything there is to know about medical school interviews and more. We had some very interesting and in-depth discussions about the different topics in medicine, such as ethics, hot topics, and the NHS.
