About Giulia

I am a friendly and motivated tutor who loves helping students realise their potential. Teaching is my passion because I enjoy seeing the moment when a tricky topic finally makes sense. Having benefitted from amazing teachers and tutors myself to achieve excellent results in all my exams, I am excited to take on a role of responsibility to help students fulfil their academic goals. I create lessons that are clear, supportive, and enjoyable, helping every learner gain confidence and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

I combine clear explanations with encouragement and a good sense of humour to keep students engaged. My approach is personalised — I identify each student’s strengths and weaknesses, and adapt lessons accordingly. I use a mix of structured exercises and past paper practice to help students build both skills and confidence. A typical lesson lasts one hour and is tailored to the student’s specific needs and goals. I plan each session in advance, but I’m flexible and ready to adjust if the student is struggling or progressing faster than expected. I have extensive experience tutoring within my school, where I mentored Year 11 pupils in Latin and Maths. I was commended by my teacher for keeping lessons upbeat and motivating even on difficult days. One of my proudest achievements is helping a student predicted a Grade 2 in GCSE Maths to achieve a Grade 5. I also have experience tutoring English to both UK-based and international students, as well as strong academic results myself, having achieved thirteen Grade 9 at GCSE and A*A*A*A*A at A-Level. My lessons are ideal for students aged 11–18, from those seeking help to boost their grades in school to those preparing for GCSEs or simply wanting to improve their subject knowledge and confidence.
