About Dr David
I've taught reading and writing to Romani Gypsies, ancient Greek to public school boys, and Latin literature and satire to Cambridge University students. I also work as a professional French translator.
My tutoring is based on these diverse experiences, all supported by three degrees, including a PhD in Latin and linguistics from Cambridge University.
But my approach to tutoring is also backed up by something that's pretty unique: I have a master's degree and vast experience in student counselling - meaning I have an in-depth understanding of the problems learners can encounter, from exam anxiety to the pursuit of perfection via the fear of failure.
But now it's over to something much more important: you.
