About George
Mathematics has been an important part of my life for several years, from being my favourite subject at school and sixth form to being my subject of choice at university and an important part of my future career plans. I have an enthusiasm to share my knowledge and teach mathematics to others, especially to assist others in performing well in mathematics in upcoming exams in school or college. I communicate clearly, am able to explain topics from multiple angles and am a friendly and patient teacher.

For a typical lesson, I would request a student to let me know what level they are studying at and a particular topic they would like to focus on during the lesson to understand better. I believe maths is best learnt by doing, so we would then work through several practice questions on that topic, aiming towards the student being confident to complete them by themself. I can also add recommendations for further reading or online resources.
