About Mark
Picture yourself hitting the exact right note during a blues progression while reading sheet music with total comfort. Teaching music requires a blend of technical tabs and raw ear training that I gathered during my 13 years of gigging. My approach relies on the real-world skills I gained as a native Québécois performer who understands how to play under pressure.
I simplify power chords so you can focus on the groove rather than the theory. Working with me means you get the benefit of a decade and a half of professional stage work. I really enjoy watching students find their signature sound.

Being self-taught while balancing 13 years in the chanson circuit feels like a strange life. My degree is the road itself, where I learned lead guitar and ear training through trial and error. I work with absolute beginners and performance-focused students who want to play with real feel.
