About Theodoros

Hello! I am a dual-certified Canadian and UK high school teacher with 10 years of international boarding school experience. I specialize in leading structured, expert programs for IB TOK, Social Science, English Reading/Writing, Model UN, and Law.

My goal is to take the stress out of advanced subjects and replace it with absolute confidence. I design custom, proactive lessons using clear frameworks to make complex essay writing, analysis, and public speaking feel manageable and rewarding.

I provide a highly professional, encouraging environment where you can truly thrive. Whether you are aiming for top marks, prepping for law school, or building public speaking skills, I am fully committed to helping you succeed. I look forward to working together!

About the lesson

I am a Canadian Certified Teacher with 10 years of international boarding school experience, including 6 years teaching elite curricula in Beijing. I specialize in IB TOK, Social Science, English Reading/Writing, Model UN, and Law.

My teaching methodology relies on a structured, curriculum-driven approach designed to build long-term academic mastery. I assess each student’s current level and design a custom, forward-looking learning plan. I teach students how to think critically, dismantle complex prompts, and construct academic arguments using structural frameworks for essay writing, advanced source analysis, and persuasive debating techniques.

A typical 60-minute lesson begins with a 10-minute targeted review of the day's core concept. The next 30 minutes focus on interactive teaching and guided analysis, where I introduce texts, case studies, or other frameworks to build deep conceptual understanding. This is followed by 10 minutes of active practice, where the student works under my real-time coaching. We close with 10 minutes of feedback and setting independent extension tasks for the next week.

What sets me apart is my extensive experience designing and leading academic programs. As a dual-certified Canadian and UK high school teacher, I know exactly how to architect a course that meets curriculum standards.

These lessons are specifically designed for high school students wanting a structured program to maximize their marks in History, Social Sciences, or the IB TOK/Extended Essay, pre-law students needing a systematic framework for argumentative writing, and Model UN candidates wanting a professional coach to build their debating and public speaking confidence.
