About Saranjit
I've been tutoring students for a significant part of my life, both as a professional and while attending high school and university. I've worked with students who have ADHD, Dyslexia and various forms of anxiety (which might hinder their performance on tests and exams). I've worked with students to create a learning plan that is designed specifically for them, and that allows them to develop skills that take them beyond the goal of getting a good grade in one class or passing one exam. These skills can be transferred to all classes, degrees and even to their work life.

I assist students by understanding how they learn best. For example, students who may be confused in math might be better assisted by talking problems through (i.e., verbally outlining the steps to take for students who learn best by understanding the underlying logic first) or writing out a step by step guide (for those that learn via example and use that example to understand the logic).
Once I know how students learn, I can help craft a learning plan for the courses they require assistance in.
The lessons I provide are for students in high school, as well as students in liberal arts studies in university/college (for example, English, History, Sociology, Political Science and so forth). I also assist individuals who are studying to pass various standardized tests such as the OSSLT and SATs.
