Hi there, I'm Teacher Dave from Canada.
My College Degree was in Law & Security but decided on teaching and obtained my TESOL Teaching Certificate in Ottawa, Canada afterwards.
I was a teacher in Taiwan for over 23 years but I am back living in Canada now and only do online teaching as I care for my parents here at home.
I taught mostly elementary aged students in schools while in Taiwan, but I did teach older students, adults, group company classes and government agencies in private and online too.
I love teaching and take great pride & satisfaction in seeing a student progress as time goes by.
I feel I'm a patient, professional, thorough teacher, and I do my very best in seeing students improve their English.

I'm a Canadian Teacher and in 2021, after teaching in Asia for more than 23 years, mostly in Taipei, Taiwan, I returned home to care for my aging parents in Ontario. I love teaching and when there, I primarily focused on elementary-aged students/schools, but over my 23+ years, I taught all levels along with many private 1-on-1 students and groups of various ages and professions also. This included branches of the Taiwan Government and private company group classes, among them being Puma Taiwan, China Trust Bank, Bank SinoPac., Chungwa Post Co. Ltd. (Taiwan National Postal System) and the Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau of Taiwan. I still retain my Taiwan Permanent Residency Card today.
I am looking for any age of student to teach online, focusing on English Conversation preferably, but open to anything the student requests. I have a lot of spare time, so I am very flexible for class schedule / times no matter where the student is from.

Details
For the first (free) lesson, together, we would go over the curriculum / materials the student wants to use. I would then explain how I would approach / teach the lessons, and the student can then decide if they wish to continue to the next lesson and begin regular classes.
