About Aimee
I’m a Carnegie Mellon graduate with a background in engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, and AI. I know math can feel intimidating, so I try to make lessons approachable, encouraging, and easy to follow. I’m patient and friendly, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting something wrong. My goal is to help students understand the material, build confidence, and leave each lesson feeling more capable than when they started.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, learning style, and goals. I focus on making math feel clear and manageable by breaking problems into simple steps, explaining the reasoning behind each method, and practicing until the student feels confident solving problems independently. A typical lesson includes reviewing difficult concepts, working through examples together, and then giving the student guided practice with feedback. I can support students from elementary school through high school, whether they need help catching up, improving grades, preparing for tests, or getting ahead.
