About Jayraj

I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with 7+ years of professional experience in mechanical and automotive product design. I have hands-on experience in CATIA V5, 3D modeling, assembly design, engineering drawings, GD&T, product development, packaging studies and design validation.
For the past several years, I have been working in the automotive seating industry, with practical experience in seating structures, mechanisms, brackets, tracks, recliners and related components.
My professional experience has given me an understanding of how CATIA is actually used in industry—not only for creating 3D models, but also for developing products, making design changes, checking packaging and clearances, preparing engineering drawings, and coordinating design requirements.
I have worked on projects involving: • Automotive seat structure and mechanism design
• CATIA V5 part and assembly modeling
• Engineering drawings and GD&T
• Packaging and clearance studies
• Design modifications and optimization
• Mechanism and component development
• Design validation and testing support
• Customer requirement implementation

About the lesson

My CATIA V5 classes are designed around practical, industry-oriented learning, not just learning individual commands.
I teach step-by-step, starting from the basics and gradually moving toward real-world mechanical and automotive design applications. Each concept is explained with a demonstration first, followed by hands-on practice so that students can understand both how to use CATIA and why a particular design approach is used.
