She can explain a comprehensive variety of concepts in easily understood ways and also identifies strengths and gaps (whether it be grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, pitch, word usage/nuance etc) and thereupon adjusts her teaching style to suit a student’s particular needs. Even as an intermediate Japanese learner prior to lessons, there is a lot she is teaching me and helping me improve on. Her lessons are just the right amount of challenging while remaining fun and engaging. Her use of a variety of teaching materials she gathers and prepares herself ahead of the lesson enhances and diversifies the learning experience. She is also very easy to get along with. Highly recommended tutor, and am always looking forward to our lessons!
