About Richard
Hello! My name is Rich and I'm a friendly TEFL-certified business English tutor from beautiful Victoria, Canada who has a passion for helping non-native speaking professionals feel more confident when communicating with western-based colleagues and associates. My lessons are adaptable, structured, encouraging and always tailored to your learning needs.
I have over 18 years of experience instructing adults, both online and offline to build a strong foundation in business English, which allows them to become successful in speaking clearly, concisely and professionally with others in their area of work, whether in an online meeting or in-person event.
I specialize in teaching beginning to advanced non-native English speaking students, using a structured curriculum that focuses on listening, speaking, reading, industry-specific vocabulary and grammar. My objective is to create a supportive and interesting space where you can feel relaxed while practicing and improving your level of business English, while also tracking your progress.

I have taught general and business-related English to adults, both online and offline for over 18 years now and I have a 120-hour TEFL certification from The TEFL Academy.
In terms of the structure of my personalized business English lessons, I only use choice curriculum that interests my students and they are guided in a systemic and meticulous fashion.
With over 24 years of experience in relation to online marketing, sales and servicing, I am extremely well-skilled and able to share much information on the topics of technology, fitness and nutrition as well.
