About Krista

In my career, I have taught grades 6th, 5th, 3rd, and Kindergarten. I have attended multiple trainings about how to best support students in a learning environment, and have grown each year in my knowledge of education and teaching. With my background in education, I am well qualified to work one on one with students to help them reach their full potential in and out of the classroom.

About the lesson

I am certified to teach grades K-8 in all subjects. I specialize in creating lessons in order to fit specific learning needs. I work hard to get to know my students and how they learn best. Our first session will consist of getting to know what areas the student needs most support in and figuring out how they best thrive in a learning environment. I have worked in my career with students of various backgrounds who have differing needs. A lesson with me will typically last an hour. They will begin with a mini lesson of whatever topic we are learning for the day, followed by curated hands on practice that involves a range of skills and application.
