About Cathy
I am a PA certified Math teacher who has taught at a Pittsburgh high school for 15 years. I also have a Masters degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. I have experience teaching AP Calculus AB and BC, Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry, SAT Math Preparation, and Geometry. I have tutored students ranging from 8th grade to college students. I have been tutoring since 2003 at several places and as a private tutor. I am happy to help with any Math topics and please contact me with any questions. I really love my teaching job and especially enjoy helping my students focus on concepts, not rote memorization and procedures. The best part of my job is watching the "light bulb go on" when a student tackles a difficult concept.
