About Jaehyeon

With four years of experience teaching Korean, I am dedicated to creating engaging, immersive learning environments that help students thrive in both language and cultural understanding. A typical 60-minute lesson follows a clear structure: Warm-up (review) → Presentation (new grammar/vocabulary) → Practice (guided speaking/listening/reading tasks) → Production (free conversation or writing) → Wrap-up (feedback and preview). I use a wide range of resources—including textbooks, multimedia, and authentic materials like songs, news clips, and drama scenes—to enhance learning and motivation. What sets me apart is my ability to personalize lessons based on each student’s goals, level, and learning style. I provide constructive, ongoing feedback and support learners in tracking their progress. My bicultural experience also helps students better understand Korean in its cultural and social context.
