About Klaus
“When you invite someone to teach you or your child to swim, trust isn’t optional — it’s everything. I founded KD Swimming School on one simple belief: every person deserves a swim instructor who is not only technically qualified, but genuinely invested in their progress, their safety, and their confidence in the water.
I am a certified swim instructor with over a decade of hands-on experience teaching students of all ages — from infants taking their first splash to seniors 55+ discovering the joy of water fitness for the first time. My background in behavioral counseling means I don’t just teach swimming — I understand people. I know how to work with anxious beginners, energetic children, cautious adults, and everything in between.
Every student who works with me receives personalized, one-on-one attention built around their unique needs, pace, and goals.

You’re getting a certified professional with over a decade of experience, a background in behavioral counseling, and a genuine ability to meet every student exactly where they are — whether that’s a fearful 5-year-old, a competitive teenager, a busy adult, or a senior looking to stay active and safe in the water.
We come to your pool. We work around your schedule. We keep groups small so you always get real attention. And we’ve helped hundreds of students across South Florida and beyond go from anxious to unstoppable in the water.
