About Prajita

Hello! My name is Prajita, and I am a certified Swim Instructor, National Lifeguard, and Standard First Aid provider with a passion for swimming, safety, and helping others learn. I enjoy working with swimmers of all ages and abilities and believe that learning to swim is an important life skill that everyone should have the opportunity to develop.

As both an instructor and lifeguard, I understand the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping each swimmer build confidence in the water while achieving their personal goals.

Beyond swimming, I enjoy leadership opportunities, working with children, and continuously developing my own skills. I take pride in being responsible, professional, and approachable, and I strive to make every lesson both productive and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered around safety, confidence, and individualized learning. I understand that every swimmer learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to each student's age, experience level, and personal goals. Whether a swimmer is entering the water for the first time or looking to refine their technique, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where they can progress at their own pace.

A typical lesson begins with a brief assessment of the swimmer's current abilities and goals. From there, we focus on key skills such as water comfort, floating, breathing techniques, stroke development, endurance, and water safety. Throughout the lesson, I provide clear demonstrations, constructive feedback, and engaging activities that help swimmers build confidence while improving their skills.

What sets me apart is my combination of certifications and dedication to helping others succeed. As a certified Swim Instructor, National Lifeguard, and Standard First Aid provider (All verified certifications obtained through LifeSaving Society), I prioritize both safety and skill development. I am patient, positive, and committed to making lessons both productive and enjoyable.

My lessons are suitable for children, beginners, and swimmers of various skill levels who want to improve their confidence, technique, and overall ability in the water which are different aspects I have learned from my previous experiences with working with children and beginners. Whether your goal is learning basic water safety, mastering swimming fundamentals, or becoming a stronger swimmer, I am excited to help you reach your goals. Best of all these lessons will be provided at your own pool!
