About Hanna
I've always had a passion for teaching. As a volunteer online tutor for Latin American ESL students in Toronto, I learned that I also love working one-on-one with students making class content and academic skills accessible. Through my BA in History and English I developed a love for essay writing, evidence and argumentation.

My expertise best fits with middle school (grade 5+), high school, and undergraduate students.
Lessons will be tailored to the student's grade level, comfortability with the material, and their goals. These tend to develop and change over the course of tutoring.
Lessons focus on a smaller goal, such as a specific assignment, test preparation, or practicing a skill which builds towards the student's larger goals.
I integrate different and unique media and perspectives in lessons. And favour activities and exercises during lessons rather than assigned work outside of sessions.
No worries if a student seems behind their grade level I am experienced in adapting curriculum and concepts to be accessible for a student at any level.
Lessons may be 30 minutes 60 minutes, or 90 minutes.
