About Shafiq

Hello there! Shafiq here. I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a passion for making learning engaging, practical, and easy to understand. With years of experience teaching both informally and professionally, I have helped students of all levels build strong academic foundations and gain confidence in their abilities. My teaching journey began in secondary school, where I enjoyed helping friends and family with their studies. This passion led me to work professionally at a tuition center in Kuala Lumpur, where I taught primary and secondary students across various subjects. Additionally, as a student assistant during university, I supported my peers in their academic work, further refining my ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively. As a master's graduate in data science with a scholarship from Yayasan Telekom Malaysia, I combine my strong academic background with real-world experience to help students excel in subjects like mathematics and programming. My lessons are tailored to each student's learning style, ensuring that concepts are not only understood but also applied with confidence.

About the lesson

How do I teach? - Concept clarity: I break down complicated concepts into simple, intuitive explanations. This ensures that the students understand the underlying concept to solve problems. - Adaptive teaching: I tailor lessons according to students' pace and learning style. - I give learning tips and guide you to master your German - I recommend a 1.5- to 2-hour lesson per session. Experience: - 6 years living in Germany - 3 years working at renowned German companies - Tutoring peers in MRSM since secondary school - University Experience – Served as a student assistant, supporting peers in academic subjects. - Professional Experience – Worked at a tuition center in Kuala Lumpur, teaching primary and secondary students.
