About Maho

Hi there! Thanks so much for checking out my profile.

I've been privately teaching Japanese internationally for a while now.
Born and raised in Japan and have lived in Canada (BC, Ontario) and the UK.
Don't hesitate to message me with any questions!

About the lesson

[Practicing conversational skills, catching up on assignments, prep for AP Japanese exam, whatever you need!]

I am willing to accommodate your needs and be flexible with what you want to learn.

If you simply want to practice your conversational skills, please do reach out to me! (current slang, how gen Z talk nowadays in Japan) I am open to any discussion topics, whatever you are interested in.

If you are about to start studying Japanese or have just started, I will base my class on the Genki textbook, with a free copy provided for you so we can cover the basics.

I've also taken AP Japanese in high school, so I am familiar with the course material!

I will also give the option to offer a session mainly in Japanese and a little bit of assistance in English.
