I have done tutoring mostly in person, and also with tutoring groups/companies. I have worked with students from Elementary School to Adults. From people with ADHD, to students who forget easily, or are slow learning. I have also subbed for teachers in a County School System as well. I can also relate well to different cultures as well.

I know most people have a deep fear of math. I first assure the tutoree, that they can come to be functional or comfortable with Math, even if they don't like it. Their feelings will likely change, when they start making some progress. It does not take long to see progress.
