Terms

1. Scheduling or rescheduling of lessons to be via email/text only by a Parent of the student and is valid only upon acceptance by the tutor via email/text.
2. Payment shall be in advance of each lesson or at the first of any group of lessons for the group for the discount to apply.
3. Payments shall be via cash at start of each Lesson or at or before each lesson via internet transfer ONLY.
4. It is understood that it may become necessary to cancel the next planned lesson on behalf of the student or tutor due to weather, illness, family emergencies or professional conflict.
a. For student cancellation: Such prompt cancellation shall be via an email/text from a Parent on behalf of the student ONLY and will be valid once acknowledged by the tutor.
b. For tutor cancellation: Tutor will notify, the student and his family to this affect by prompt email/text to the parent and student.
c. Every attempt will be made to reschedule the missed lesson as soon as possible to maintain the flow of learning without financial penalty.
5. Cancellation of this tutoring relationship may arise due to any of but not limited to the following reasons:
a. By Tutor: Failure of student to adequately grasp the material or maintain an acceptable level of commitment in the opinion of the tutor to the studies which are the subject of the tutoring services being provided after one warning to the parents via email/text.
b. By Tutor: For repeated failure by parent to pay or arrange for payment of tutor’s fees in advance of lessons as provided above.
c. By Student’s Family: Students family may cancel this tutoring relationship for cause (i.e. inability to keep regularly scheduled appointments without notice) as related to the tutoring services to be provided herein by email/text from a Parent ONLY. Such cancellation to be valid upon Tutor’s acknowledgment by email/text, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
