I am a 20-year-old high school student with a strong interest in teaching Chinese language and helping others improve their communication skills. I am passionate about making learning simple, clear, and enjoyable, especially for beginners who may find Mandarin challenging at first. My approach focuses on patience, clarity, and consistent practice, ensuring that students feel supported at every step of their learning journey. I aim to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students can build confidence, improve steadily, and develop a real understanding of the Chinese language.

My teaching approach is structured, interactive, and student-centered. I focus on breaking down complex Chinese language concepts into simple, clear steps using explanations, examples, and guided practice, while encouraging active speaking and real-life application to strengthen understanding and retention. A typical lesson includes a short review, introduction of new content, practice exercises, conversational activities, and feedback to track progress and address difficulties.
As a tutor, my unique strength is my ability to explain ideas from a learner’s perspective, making difficult concepts more relatable and easier to grasp, while adapting my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning needs. My lessons are best suited for beginners and intermediate learners, including high school students or early-stage Mandarin learners who want to improve their reading, writing, speaking, or overall communication skills in Chinese.
