After years of teaching, I think learning by reading and speaking is the most efficient way.
If you are an absolute beginner:
We will start first with the script. I will use the material designed by my self and then customized the vocabs to your interest.
If you are intermediate learner:
You can choose how you want to balance between speaking and reading.
From my teaching experience, if the students and absorb vocabs from the properly chosen materials and then use them in speaking and writing, they will learn faster. Those materials are of course based on your level, interest and purpose.
I have multiple education background:
Engineering: BE of software engineering
Arts: BA in Mcgill(GPA4.0) & Concordia (GPA4.2)
Law: Juris Master (in China) Business law Master Degree (Udem)
Learning and sharing languages are two of the most interesting things in my life. From my first tutor lesson until know, I teach more than five years. I give both face to face small group class and online one to one class.
