About Giulia

Hello! My name is Giulia, and I recently moved to Australia to start my University studies. I completed high school in Italy, having both Italian and French diplomas. I also graduated from a Canadian high school during my exchange year. Having lived in different countries for some time taught me how I like to share my culture and learn from others as well!

For me, learning Italian is not only about grammar rules and vocabulary, but also about discovering the history, literature, and ideas behind the language. I have always loved Italian culture, especially reading Italian authors and exploring how language reflects the way people think and express themselves. Since I have also studied Latin, I enjoy sharing interesting connections between Italian and its roots, as well as small details about the evolution of words and expressions.

During our lessons, I would be happy to recommend books, movies or simply share fun and interesting aspects of the language that you might not find in a textbook! I believe these details make learning a language much more engaging and meaningful!

I am a very patient and understanding person, and I genuinely love teaching! I have learned how to adapt my explanations to different learning styles and made sure you would feel comfortable asking questions.

My goal is always to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can improve at your own pace, and enjoy the process of learning Italian!

About the lesson

My name is Giulia, and I am a native Italian speaker currently studying Physics at university in Australia. Before moving abroad, I gained experience tutoring students in Italy in different subjects, including Italian, Latin, French grammar, mathematics, and science.

My main goal is not only to teach Italian, but to make sure you truly understand the language and feel confident using it! I understand, being a student myself, how everybody's learning method is different; that's why I adapt my lessons to your personal goals, level, and learning style!

Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, grammar, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary, or simply become more comfortable having conversations in Italian, I will tailor the lessons around your needs!

During my classes, I often use structured materials such as presentations, slides, exercises, and personalized notes to make concepts clearer and easier to remember. I also use different memorization techniques and practical examples to help you retain new vocabulary and grammar naturally. At the same time, I like to keep lessons interactive and focused on real communication, because the best way to learn a language is by actively using it.

Lessons are usually around 45–60 minutes, but I am flexible depending on your preferences and learning goals. My classes are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, and students who simply want to maintain or improve their Italian through conversation and practice.

My lessons are for everybody, as long as I can help you learn or improve what you already know, I am happy to see you gaining confidence and having fun learning!
