About Patricia
I am a civil engineer with 7 years of post qualification experience. While I was a student, I also worked part time as a teacher, and two years ago I decided to get the official degree that is necessary to work as a teacher in Spain to go further in the education career. Since then, I have worked as a private tutor while I study for the public examination to become a secondary school teacher.

I am a maths teacher with a civil engineering degree, teaching private lessons to students in the spanish international schools.
The subjects that I teach are:
- Matemáticas (1º ESO, 2º ESO).
- Matemáticas orientadas a las enseñanzas académicas (3º ESO, 4º ESO).
- Matemáticas orientadas a las enseñanzas aplicadas (3º ESO, 4º ESO).
- Matemáticas I y II.
- Matemáticas aplicadas a las ciencias sociales (I y II).
Before the lesson takes place, I like to communicate with the students in order to know their doubts, what they have been doing at school and plan the class in the most efficient way. Later, during the lesson, I ask them to explain me everything in their own words when we solve the related problems, so I can make sure that they are understanding what we say. The fact that the lessons are webcam based has proven to be advantageous in the way that they need to express themselves, something that, according to the learning theories, can lead to retain knowledge.
