About Mel
Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm a civil engineer. I've been tutoring since VCE in high school and am very passionate about passing along key lifelong skills including time management, confident and problem solving.
My passions have led me to various leadership and development roles within St John Ambulance Victoria and Robogals; a student-run not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to inspire, engage and empower young women into engineering and related fields.

I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, in math, science, first aid and languages other than English for students in both primary and high school.
My private tutoring sessions run for 80-90 minutes on average for a flat rate. In my experience, I've found that 60 minutes is often not long enough to get through the content and provide students with the confidence required to continue their studies outside of private tutoring.
My role is to motivate and provide the student, YOUR CHILD, the confidence to continue working hard even when I'm not there.
