About Akansha
My day job is in tech. My favorite part of the day begins when I get to teach.
I’m a Civil Engineering graduate with an MBA, and I work with a global SaaS company. Teaching isn’t my full-time profession, it’s something I’ve always genuinely enjoyed.
Growing up with three younger siblings meant I naturally became the person helping with homework, preparing for exams, and making tricky Math and Science concepts a little easier to understand. Over the years, that never really changed. Even today, I genuinely enjoy sitting down with students, breaking down a difficult problem until it finally clicks.
I enjoy teaching because every student learns differently. Sometimes all it takes is a different explanation, a simple example, or a little patience for everything to fall into place.
I’m looking forward to spending a few evenings each week doing something I genuinely enjoy- helping students build confidence in Mathematics and Science!

I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions, understanding concepts, and enjoying the process.
My classes are designed to make Mathematics and Science easier to understand, less intimidating, and more enjoyable. Here:
• We don’t rush to the answer, we first understand the “why” behind every concept.
• Every lesson is adapted to the student’s pace, learning style, and individual goals.
• I use simple explanations, practical examples, and visual methods to make concepts easier to grasp and remember.
• I’ll happily explain the same concept three different ways if that’s what it takes for it to click.
• We’ll solve problems together first, and then you’ll learn to solve them independently with confidence.
• Questions are always welcome, and mistakes are seen as an essential part of learning, there’s absolutely no judgment in my classroom.
