About Thelma
Completing an MMus at the McGill Schulich School of Music shaped how I approach the violin today. Dealing with tone production and ear training feels natural after spending 13 years in the industry.
I work with students who value double stops and orchestral playing as much as I do. This is my full-time work.
My focus remains on tuning by ear and classical repertoire. Mastering left-hand agility and shifting positions takes time but it is entirely possible. I enjoy seeing students develop their own voice through the instrument.

Sitting down for the first session often involves checking your posture before picking up the bow. A calm approach allows us to address tone production and ear training without unnecessary stress. My 13 years of experience mean I have seen nearly every common technical challenge. We break down double stops and orchestral playing into manageable steps.
Practicing classical repertoire becomes less daunting when you have a clear plan for tuning by ear. You might find that left hand agility and shifting positions improve faster than you expected.
My 10.0 rated method focuses on clarity in every movement. Being supportive is just part of my job. Hope to see you in the studio soon.
