About Chris
I’m a passionate and dedicated violinist with a Master’s degree in violin performance and over a decade of teaching and performing experience. Throughout my musical journey, I’ve worked with students of all ages and levels—from absolute beginners to aspiring professionals—and I truly enjoy helping each person discover their own voice through music. Having performed in orchestras, chamber groups, and solo settings, I bring a well-rounded perspective to my teaching. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to grow, make mistakes, and improve with confidence. I believe that music is not just about playing the right notes, but about connection, creativity, and self-expression—and I strive to share that belief in every lesson.

As a classically trained violinist with a Master’s degree and over 10 years of teaching experience, I offer lessons that focus on both strong technical foundations and expressive musical interpretation. My approach is tailored to each student’s needs, helping them develop proper posture, intonation, bow control, and phrasing through clear, structured exercises and repertoire.
A typical lesson begins with warm-ups and technical work (such as scales or études), followed by focused work on solo pieces or orchestra excerpts. I incorporate ear training and sight reading when appropriate, and I always encourage musical storytelling, not just note-playing.
I teach students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for auditions, competitions, or university entrance. Whether you're looking to build confidence, improve technique, or deepen your musical understanding, my lessons are designed to be supportive, motivating, and inspiring.
What sets my teaching apart is the balance of precision and artistry: I guide students to play with both technical clarity and emotional depth.
