About Sofía

Hola! My name is Sofia, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I’m currently studying Psychology, and one of the things I love most about my field is understanding how people learn, communicate, and grow, which is something I bring into every Spanish lesson I teach. I believe that learning a new language should be a fun and meaningful experience. As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive, and personalized space where you feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and improve your skills. I tailor each lesson to your needs and pace, making sure it feels relevant to you and enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I love reading, dancing, and exploring different cultures. I enjoy using these interests to make my classes more dynamic and engaging. Hola! I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, and I offer personalized online Spanish lessons designed to help you feel confident and comfortable from the very first class. My teaching approach is conversational, practical, and student-focused. I believe language is best learned through real-life situations, so I use interactive exercises, role-playing, everyday vocabulary, and cultural insights to make each lesson fun and relevant for you. A typical lesson includes: - A short review of previous material - Introduction to a new topic - Practice through speaking and/or listening activities - Optional homework or fun challenges to reinforce your progress I tailor my lessons to beginners and lower-intermediate students who want to: - Travel to Spanish-speaking countries - Improve their conversational skills - Start learning Spanish from scratch in a relaxed, friendly way What sets me apart is my patience, flexibility, and ability to explain things simply. I create a space where you’re encouraged to speak, make mistakes, and grow.
