About Andrew

My name is Andrew, and I help students and professionals learn in a practical, structured, and confidence-building way. I am a Columbia Business School MBA, CFA charterholder, West Point graduate, founder, former investment professional, and public-company board director. My background gives me a strong foundation in business, finance, investing, leadership, strategy, and AI-enabled productivity.

I have prior teaching and tutoring experience with Kaplan and The Princeton Review, and I have also coached students, professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives throughout my career. I understand that complex subjects can feel intimidating at first, so I focus on breaking ideas down into clear, usable steps. My sessions are organized, patient, and tailored to each student’s goals, experience level, and preferred learning style.

What makes my tutoring different is the combination of academic training, real-world experience, and practical coaching. I do not just explain concepts; I help students understand how to apply them. Whether a student is learning AI for business, preparing for a finance career, improving professional skills, or building confidence with a difficult subject, my goal is to make each lesson useful, encouraging, and results-oriented.

Students can expect professionalism, preparation, clear communication, and a serious commitment to their progress.

My approach as a tutor is practical, personalized, and focused on real-world results. I start by understanding the student’s goals, current level, and where they feel stuck. From there, I build lessons around clear explanations, live examples, guided practice, and useful take-home exercises so students can immediately apply what they learn.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the student’s objective, followed by a focused walkthrough of the AI concept, tool, or workflow we are working on that day. Then we apply it to a real use case, such as writing better prompts, improving productivity, creating sales or marketing content, analyzing information, building workflows, or using AI to support business decisions. I make sure the student leaves each session with something practical they can use right away.

What sets me apart is that I teach AI from the perspective of a business builder, investor, and operator, not just as a technology topic. I am Andrew, a Columbia MBA, CFA charterholder, West Point graduate, founder, and public-company board director. I help students understand how AI can save time, improve communication, support decision-making, create better marketing, strengthen sales outreach, and make professionals more effective in their daily work.

These lessons are for business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, students, and career changers who want to use AI more effectively. No technical background is required. I can work with beginners who are just getting started, as well as more advanced students who want to build repeatable AI workflows for business, sales, marketing, finance, research, writing, productivity, or career development.
