About Angie

I am a dedicated and approachable mathematics tutor who is committed to helping students build confidence, understanding, and strong problem-solving skills. I take a clear, structured approach to teaching and adapt each lesson to suit the individual needs and learning style of the student.

I have a strong academic background in mathematics (advanced and extension 1 HSC level) and am currently a first-year university student. I am organized, patient, and reliable, and I take my responsibilities as a tutor seriously. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

I communicate concepts clearly, explain methods step-by-step, and focus on ensuring students understand the reasoning behind each solution. My aim is not only to improve grades, but also to help students develop long-term confidence and independence in mathematics.

Lessons are tailored to the student’s school curriculum and learning pace.

I regularly revise past content and incorporate exam-style questions to improve problem-solving skills and time management.

I focus on breaking down complex questions into manageable steps to reduce anxiety around maths.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, which allows enough time for explanation, guided practice, and revision.

Longer sessions (90 minutes) can be arranged for exam preparation or senior students if needed.

I have a strong academic background in mathematics (advanced and extension 1 level) and am currently a first year university student.
