About Lyric

Hello! I’m a French tutor with over 3 years of experience supporting students who want to strengthen their understanding of French language, history, and political science. I hold a BA in French with a concentration in Business and Diplomacy, which shaped my interest in political institutions and historical change. My tutoring style is creative and engaging.

Many students struggle when they encounter complex political terminology or detailed historical explanations. I help simplify these challenges. By breaking major events and political systems into smaller, digestible concepts, I make the material easier to understand and remember. Learning becomes far less stressful.

Writing is another area where I love helping students grow. I guide students in organizing ideas, strengthening arguments, and expressing themselves clearly in French. French history offers incredible stories of leadership, revolution, and transformation. I especially enjoy exploring these figures and movements with my students. History becomes much more meaningful when it feels alive. My goal is always to replace confusion with confidence. Together, we turn historical challenges into confident understanding.

Students also learn how French universities operate. We explore topics such as course registration, academic expectations, and program structures. I also guide students in campus communication, including writing professional emails and understanding lecture language.

French history, politics, and academic vocabulary are often included because they appear in many university programs. I break down complex topics into simple explanations so students can understand them more easily. Writing skills are also an important part of lessons.

This method works especially well for Heritage Learners and Travelers who want to strengthen their connection to the language. It helps them adjust to French academic culture with confidence. Lessons focus on real situations students may experience at university. Step by step, students build stronger understanding and independence. Let’s conquer those academic challenges together.
