About Cass

My degree is in Communications with Honours. My career has been in marketing and business development. I know how to cater my topic to the person in front of me or the person reading my email. I have learned strategies to get to a "yes" or to get a meeting as soon as possible. I have pitched in front of investors, in front of large clients and in front of my own teams. Most of all, I can tell you that we're all just people and I know that the human connection is at the core of all communications.

About the lesson

I work with your strengths when it comes to tailoring how to present oral and written communications.

The process looks like this:
1) We start with a goal in mind (ex. create a speech)
2) We break down the objective into what we can do each session (ex. write an outline of the speech)
3) We achieve each milestone and at the end of the lesson review if we have made enough of the progress (ex. do we need to rewrite the speech, do we need more time)
4) There will be some take away exercises (ex. practicing eye contact in the mirror or breathing techniques to help calm the nerves)
5) Mission accomplished.

I'm active in the feedback process so if something isn't working, you tell me and we'll change it!
