About Clara
I have been playing the harp for over 16 years and hold an ABRSM Diploma in Harp Performance. As a two-time recipient of the Stella Russell Award at the Wheaton College Conservatory—recognizing the top musician in my class—I regularly compete at local, regional, and international levels. Currently, I’m a senior at the Wheaton Conservatory, pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Music History and Literature with a concentration in Harp. I’m passionate about helping others discover a love for the harp and am known for being a clear, organized, and supportive teacher.

I teach harp at all levels, balancing technical foundations like scales and arpeggios with repertoire that inspires and excites each student. For long-term harp students, I encourage participation in the ABRSM program, which offers valuable structure, motivation, and regular performance opportunities. I primarily teach beginner piano students, helping them develop a strong musical ear and solid foundational skills. I also work with music theory students at all levels, incorporating historical context to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the material.
