About Josiah
My name is Josiah, and I have been speedcubing for 9 years. I have always had a love for things that puzzled me and gave me an analytical challenge, so my hobbies reflect that. I average low 8 seconds currently, however when I had more time to train, I set up a training plan for myself and saw a massive improvement and got a personal best average around 6.6 seconds and a single of 3.68 seconds. I taught a camp a few years ago, and even the children learned to solve the Rubik's Cube and got faster at it, so whether your goal is to solve it, or improve your speed, I am positive that my guidance will help you reach your goals.

I have taught people of varying skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced speedcubers.
If you are learning how to solve a cube, I will go over the basic steps such as: Identifying piece types (Center, Corner, Edge), learning the Color Scheme, the four-move algorithm, solving the Daisy, Solving The cross, solving the first layer, solving the second layer, and finally the last layer.
For people who know how to solve a cube and are looking to advance their skills, I will teach you: finger tricks to increase turn speed and decrease overworking and regripping fingers, decrease cube rotations through edge orientation, lookahead techniques to reduce pauses, improve your efficiency in solutions, ways to incorporate keyhole and pseudo-slotting in your solves, planning further into your solve in inspection, and predicting proceeding steps from the current step.
