About Max
Hello, my name is Max Moreno. I am 20 years old and I attended Langara College in Vancouver to receive my Associates of Arts Degree in English Literature.
I am also an award-winning author of a short story, "Ain't No Way This Is Real"
I am from a loving and traditional Colombian household.
Growing up, literature was always a big thing in my family. My great grandmother would have books of different and talent authors ready for us to read. I would always have a book in hand or in my bag in case I get bored or tired.
Writing is no exception. I love writing, I am considered the writer in my family. Writing brings me lots of piece, if it's either writing diary entries, short stories or poems. I actually want to be a writer when I'm older. But being able tot teach writing and reading to people is also a big one of mine too!

-I believe patience and time is a key factor the success of any student.
-A technique use when learning new words is trying to use them when having normal conversations with peers and relatives.
-When it comes to reading, It's preferable that the students follow the books they are given in class by their teachers. But, I do like to read material of authors from diverse backgrounds and identities.
-I also like to have students write some short stories and diary entries so I can, not only get to know them, but also see what level of writing they are at.
-I focus on students between grades 6 and 12.
