About George
Hi there! I am a undergraduate Computer Science student at City, University of London with a passion for teaching and game design. My experience is 4+ years Java, 2 years Python, 1 year in Industry as a QA Engineer and longer than I can remember designing video games.
I believe that the best possible introduction to Programming is through making video games. For complete beginners I teach the fundamentals and best practices - to strengthen this knowledge we apply the skills learnt to making a project. For more able students or continuing students we then tackle more complex and challenging concepts and likewise apply these to a project.
This theory -> project -> theory -> project approach is fantastic for computing as the student learns skills and techniques applicable to many other areas of science and design.
