About Yousef
Hi! My name is Yousef, and I’m currently a Computer Science student with a strong interest in mathematics and problem-solving. Having gone through high school math myself, I understand that some topics can feel confusing or overwhelming at first. I believe that with the right explanation and enough practice, math can become much easier to understand.
As a Computer Science student, I regularly use logical thinking, mathematics, and problem-solving in my studies. I bring that same approach to tutoring by breaking complicated questions into smaller, easier steps rather than simply giving students an answer or asking them to memorize a formula.
I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to explain something more than once or in a completely different way. There is no such thing as a bad question in my lessons. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can build their confidence, improve their grades, and develop a better understanding of math.
I primarily work with high school students, whether they need help keeping up with class, preparing for an upcoming test, completing practice problems, or strengthening their math skills overall. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations and pace to the individual student.

Hi, I’m Yousef! I’m a Computer Science student with a strong background in mathematics, and I’m looking to help high school students become more confident and comfortable with math.
My teaching approach focuses on making difficult concepts simple. Instead of expecting students to memorize formulas without understanding them, I break problems into small, manageable steps and explain why each step works. I also use examples and practice questions to make sure students can apply what they learn on their own.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of the topic and anything the student is struggling with. I then explain the main concepts step by step, work through examples with the student, and finish with practice questions where they can try the method themselves. If something still isn’t clear, I’ll explain it in a different way until it makes sense.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I understand what it’s like to be a student learning challenging material. I try to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed about not knowing something. My goal isn’t just to help students get the right answer it’s to help them understand how to get there.
My lessons are designed primarily for high school students who need help with mathematics, whether they’re trying to improve their grades, prepare for a test, catch up on difficult topics, or strengthen their overall math skills.
