About Luisa
Git version control, clean code practices, data structures, and web development form the foundation of my daily technical toolkit. I understand that even the simplest lines of code can create frustrating errors for new developers.
I work with students who need greater clarity while learning through projects and building their programming skills. My approach focuses on breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and applying them through practical coding exercises.
Teaching these fundamentals allows students to approach programming with greater confidence and curiosity. Together, we turn the logical challenges of coding into enjoyable problems that are rewarding to solve.

Starting immediately on actual code, you will find we build small working programs from the very first lesson to establish momentum. Because I hold a BSc in Computer Science from McGill and teach at Lighthouse Labs, I structure these interactions to favor direct implementation over abstract theory.
My 10 years in the field ensure that our time together remains grounded in the realities of modern software engineering. You can expect a logical progression where each step builds upon the previous one without unnecessary fluff. We move through technical challenges by focusing on what actually functions in a real world terminal. I focus on building your technical confidence through consistent and methodical practice sessions.
