About Cecilia
Singing louder is rarely the best way to get a stronger sound. I focus on technique first. We work on belting safely and maintaining your range.
Most students find this shift improves their confidence quickly. You will learn to manage your breath and resonance properly. My degree helps me explain the mechanics of sound clearly. We can start whenever you feel ready to sing.

I teach because sharing the nuance of music and language is what I do best. My lessons are designed for adults and returning learners who want to improve their VOCAL HEALTH AND CARE. After 13 years of gigging the Montreal folk scene, I have learned how to maintain a voice through long sets and various environments. I earned my BM in Guitar and BA in French Studies from Concordia University.
This blend of subjects helps me teach singing with a focus on tone, resonance, and harmony. I have worked with many students to extend their range and improve pitch control. My goal is to keep things simple and effective. Reach out if you are curious about my approach.
