About Urace
I am a professional Drum Tutor with over 6 years of experience teaching college students. My aim is to help learners develop solid drumming skills while enjoying music and building confidence. My teaching style combines discipline with encouragement. I focus on core techniques such as grip, posture, coordination, timing, and rhythm control. Lessons are planned carefully so students can progress smoothly without feeling overwhelmed.
I use innovative teaching tools like rhythm charts, tempo-building exercises, and music-based learning. Practicing with real songs helps students understand how drums fit into different musical styles and group performances. Creativity is strongly encouraged in my lessons. I guide students to create their own grooves and fills while understanding rhythm structure.
I also help students think critically about how drumming supports melody and harmony. As a mentor, I believe in accountability and steady progress. I help students develop good practice habits and track improvement regularly. My friendly and supportive approach makes learning drums enjoyable for college students.

My teaching approach for drums is student-centered and goal-oriented. I focus on creativity, understanding, and accountability to help students grow at their own pace. Every lesson is designed to be clear, engaging, and effective.
I start by building a strong foundation in rhythm, timing, and coordination. I encourage students to think about what they are playing and why it sounds the way it does. This helps develop critical thinking and musical awareness.
Creativity is included through guided improvisation and rhythm-building exercises. Students are encouraged to explore different styles and create their own beats. I use simple explanations and practical examples to keep learning easy and enjoyable.
As a mentor, I guide students with patience and positive feedback. Accountability is ensured by setting practice routines and tracking progress. Students learn discipline, consistency, and confidence.
Along with drum training, I also teach supporting subjects such as tempo management, rhythm reading, and basic music theory. This helps students become well-rounded musicians.
