Idioms and expressions are the secret code to sounding like a local, so I prioritize those right from the start. Dealing with grammar is easier when you treat it like a puzzle rather than a chore. My 13 years of experience have shown that language lives in the music of speech.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from Concordia University to anchor my methods in academic structure. Growing up in Trois-Rivières means I can filter out the stiff textbook approach that often hinders progress.
