About Alyssa
I have been practicing Spanish for 16 years, through school getting a bachelors in Spanish from DU, study abroad in Madrid, and travel to 5 Latin American countries and counting. I also use Spanish fluently at work in a Business Development role. I have been teaching Spanish through my company Gringa Consulting for almost 4 years for individuals and businesses.

My goal is to make myself redundant as a tutor by teaching the strategies needed to continue studying Spanish independently for the long term. I include in the price all grammar lessons, email followups and assignments, and materials. The lesson plan and structure of the tutoring is very customized to the student but tends to focus on conversation, as this is the hardest part of learning any language and isn't well replicated when alone.
