About Roman
I hold a PhD in Greek and Latin from Cornell University (2010). I have experience teaching Latin, Greek and Biblical Hebrew in a large group setting as well as individually.Prior to changing careers, I worked as a lecturer at Cornell where I taught Introductory and Advanced Latin and Greek, Homer, Plato, Advanced Latin and Greek composition.

I love reading ancient texts and I always focus on helping students start reading them as soon as possible. The more we read, the more we learn about the language and the ancient world. As an Ivy League PhD in Classics, I use teaching methodology and materials that students typically encounter taking Latin or Ancient Greek classes at Cornell, Yale or Harvard. At its core, my approach is based on combining inclusive atmosphere of a dialogue and wide ranging discussion with the rigor essential to the study of Classics.
