About Maria
I am a certified kindergarten and preschool teacher and have successfully completed my studies in 2011. I was 7 years in a German kindergarten in Berlin. I have the work and vacation visa for Australia.
I am a friendly, approachable woman from Berlin. I am looking to help students realise their full potential.
In my daily work and under the direction of the Berlin education system, I have a team of 25 projects designed to teach the skills of children in the most important preschool areas, such as literacy, mathematics and science, as well as other important areas such as art, social and emotional well-being, and health and nutrition.
When I was on the road for a year, I realised that I love to teach German. I met a lot of people and I enjoyed teaching some German and talking about my mother tongue.
I enjoy working with children and adults because it helps me to develop and help them to be more independent and self-confident.

My teaching method is based on the experience of my students. In my opinion both, speaking and writing is an important part of language acquisition. Exercises created close to the normal life give the best results. Fun and joy are indispensable. Vocabulary is only half the language, using the correct grammatical structures makes all the difference.
I speak high German, so no dialectical distortions.
